My work focuses on labor. Currently, my research deals with the models of agricultural production and aims to bridge the rural and urban world.
Land, as a tool of production but also as a symbolic and emotional space - to be surveyed, mapped, probed - is constitutive of my work.
My research is based on social sciences (sociology, geography, linguistics), as well as on empirical experiments combined with autobiographical elements as the rural and peasant environment I grew up in.
My work has been exhibited in various museums, galleries and art weeks throughout Europe: Bundeskunsthalle (Bonn, 2020), gr_und (Berlin, 2020, 2022), Leipziger Baumwollspinnerei (2019), Art Contemporary Weekend (Bordeaux, 2019), Reinbeckhallen (Berlin, 2018). I also participated in various art residencies: NAC, Lituania, 2020, Factatory, Lyon, 2021 as well as The Art of Being Good, Kunstihoone Tallinn, 2021.
My new agricultural work Against the Grain is visible physically at the EKKM Contemporary Art Museum in Tallinn, Estonia, 2022.
