This installation revolves around an annual activity at the family farm near Saint-Etienne in France.
When the fields have been plowed, rocks emerge from the ground. The farmers pick them up and throw them into a dump-truck. Then they use them for building embankments. This work is repeated every year, as if rocks were growing afresh every season.
