Study is understood here in its classical sense, a sketched work, a prototype with a view to creating a larger art piece.
Study for Producer-Production is a series of sculptures, drawings, objets and videos produced in 2020 on the agriculture topic, which led to the development a new multimedia project.
Towards the end of 2019, I filmed agricultural events at the Brandenburg Gate. More than 8,000 tractors arrived for demonstration. The concerns of the day: How do you work with agricultural policies, how do you feed the planet? However these farmers are in favour of maintaining the use of the controversial Glyphosate.
This project is the beginning of a reflection on agricultural work: the stakes of land grabbing, choices about how to produce, what it means to be a producer in our globalized economies.
