My concerns are about relationships based on might or strength in our contemporary globalized societies. I am interested in questions related to power, domination and even more so in the forms of counter-power and resistance implemented in processes of «reappropriation».
I question our relationship to work - as human activity, relational environment, socio-economic status and archaeological landscape. Using tools borrowed from the social sciences (sociology, geography, linguistics) and combined with empirical research, I try to understand how capitalist systems affect individuals and the territories they invest.
Initiated by a series of lived events (life on my parents’ farm, job interviews for start-ups, my experience as an Art Handler), a polymorphic body of work develops, ranging from drawing to video and from sculpture to installation.
My work wants to be hybrid, experimental, amateur. The notions of movement, context and multiplicity are essential. I work with organic materials, recycled or common materials. My plastic affinities are influenced by an aesthetics of do-it-yourself from the rural and peasant environment from which I come from.
